Staff Trainings
Early Childhood Mentoring Services Offers Staff Trainings for your program. This is where we come to your location during a staff meeting or teacher in-service day and we train your program on a certain topic. We are certified trainers according to the State of Wisconsin. Classroom Management
This training talks about the roles and expectations of EC teachers. This is a good training for centers that new staff, staff not understanding their role and it's also good for seasoned teachers. This training tends to be more interactive because everyone is sharing ideas. After this training the staff will understand their role better or will make changes in their room to make is run more smoothly.
Counts as 2 hours of Counting Education.

Professionalism in the Workplace
This training covers things a bit further being an EC Teacher. This talks about how they should conduct themselves while at work, outside of work, interactions with co-workers/parents, communication and issues associated with personal social media accounts. After this training the staff will have a different insight on professionalism at work. This is not something that is talked about often and it's good for them to learn about it.
Counts as 2 hours of Continuing Education.

Biting
Biting is a big problem in this field and it's important for everyone in the center to learn about how to handle it. This training will talk about how you can make changes to make biting better. We will give you tools and resources to hand to your staff and parents. We will also cover biting policies and give you ideas on sample biting policies.
Counts as 1 hour and 30 minutes of continuing education.

Behaviors
In this field we tend to see many types of personalities and at times it can be challenging. We will talk about those challenging times and how to handle children that are more difficult. And we will also discuss when those behaviors cross the line and how to handle it. We will also provide you with sample polices.
